week four- The Power of CSS & Design

while looking through the extra links for this week i decided to check out the one on designing one page portfolios. as i was looking through this sight i found it really interesting how the designer Chris spooner used photoshop in such a large way for his site. First he began by creating the entire website in photoshop. Then after he exported the background as a whole and put it into dreamweaver. then he exported many of the smaller elements and placed them using dreamweaver. i found this very cool cause it gave him the ability to create his whole website in photoshop and then export it without using slices to create a really nice well coded website. this technique was really interesting to me and i cant wait to get a chance to try it out.

when it came to the questions that were asked to the designers i thought there reactions to how to get out of writers block was interesting. i really liked all of there ideas but i thought it was a great idea when many of them said to get out and do something active. when i think about it that is really one of the things that makes alot of sence to me. i thought all the ideas in that section were really interesting
